Job summary

The Nurse Extern at Medical University of South Carolina will perform routine duties under supervision of a Registered Nurse, caring for hospitalized patients and potentially cross-training as a Unit Secretary as unit demands.

The Nurse Extern may be cross-trained to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on the demands and needs of the unit in which they are assigned. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
