Externals must be in an accredited ADN/BSN program, with the first semester completed, and have 12 months to NCLEX after graduating. BLS certification is required, and the role is paid hourly on a PRN basis.
We are seeking compassionate, motivated, and dedicated nursing students to join our team as Nurse Externs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience while working alongside experienced registered nurses in a supportive healthcare environment.

The Nurse Extern performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The Nurse Extern may be cross-trained to operate as a Unit Secretary depending on the demands and needs of the unit in which they are assigned. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
