Job summary

Good Shepherd Hospice in Dallas seeks an experienced RN Executive Director to lead our Dallas team. You will oversee all operations, planning, development, and evaluation of hospice services, ensuring patient-centered care and staff excellence.

Reporting to COO, you’ll manage regulatory compliance, budget, and interdisciplinary teams, while driving strategic initiatives and community education to advance end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Nurse license (RN) or equivalent administrator license in the state.
• Minimum three years of management or supervisory experience in hospice or home health.
• Demonstrated commitment to hospice philosophy of care.
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations, reimbursement systems, and healthcare management.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Budgeting and financial analysis experience.
• Servant leadership with culture-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations, planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of hospice services.
• Lead and supervise staff, volunteers, and administrative personnel.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at federal, state, and local levels.
