Job summary

The Registered Nurse for the Excel Program at Twin Cities Orthopedics delivers high-quality care to patients enrolled in the Excel Program at our Eagan, MN location. This part-time role (.75 FTE) includes day and night rotations, with heavier day shifts, serving patients through the pre- and post-operative experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, developing care plans, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, administering medications, and providing patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited school of registered nursing.
• Current RN licensure in MN or WI (multi-state) required.
• Two years of post-operative or critical care nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certification required or completed upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and document findings.
• Develop individualized plan of care based on assessment and diagnoses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and provide post-operative care.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures.
