Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Hamilton area on a part-time basis. The RN delivers patient-centered care during 12-hour day shifts, collaborating with the healthcare team to promote safety and excellent outcomes.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program graduate (ADN or BSN), an Ohio RN license, and BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days). Preferred: BSN, ED nursing experience, ACLS or specialty certifications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) EWC (Hamilton) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing). None required; clinical experience during nursing program accepted. Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Must have Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area preferred.
