Job summary

Kettering Health Middletown is seeking an RN for Every Weekend Commitment on 12-hour night shifts. You will deliver patient-centered care in collaboration with the healthcare team, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care to ensure safety and quality across clinical settings.

Active Ohio RN license and BLS are required; BSN and ACLS are preferred, with 1 year of acute care experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Current, valid RN license in Ohio.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) EWC delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).None required; clinical experience during nursing program accepted.Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). One year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or relevant specialty setting. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area.
