Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking an RN for the EWC at Hamilton in a part-time role with 12-hour shifts during daytime hours. The position focuses on delivering patient-centered nursing care within a collaborative healthcare team and maintaining safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will hold an ASN or BSN, possess an active Ohio RN license, and have BLS certification (or the ability to obtain within 30 days). Clinical nursing experience gained during schooling is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Current, valid RN license in the State of Ohio
• BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire
• Clinical experience during nursing program accepted

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) EWC (Hamilton) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing). None required; clinical experience during nursing program accepted. Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Must have Emergency Department nursing experience.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area preferred.
