Job summary

RegalCare is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Quincy team on an every other weekend schedule. You will provide high-quality nursing care, supervise licensed staff, and ensure compliance with regulations in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and individualized care plans.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents' conditions, reporting changes to the physician and interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Supervise and support LPNs and CNAs.
• Respond promptly to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Participate in shift reports and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold resident rights.
