Job summary

Cadia Healthcare in Wilmington, DE seeks a Nurse Evening Supervisor to oversee clinical care for residents and ensure coordinated, high-quality nursing services. This role emphasizes staffing, rounds, and timely communication to leadership.

Position requires an active RN license and at least 2 years of supervisor experience in long-term care, with a Monday–Friday evening schedule and a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state or compact state.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor in long-term care or healthcare facilities.
• Training in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred; knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc.
• Review staffing for the assigned shift and ensure each resident has a nurse/CNA; adjust as needed.
• Make rounds at shift start and end; replace call-offs during shift.
• Communicate events/incidents to DON/ADON and assist in corrective actions.

Position Description

The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the overall clinical care of all residents throughout the facility and to assure that all care is coordinated and provided. Cadia is dedicated to providing the best care possible and that’s where you come in!

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, charting, etc. as necessary.
• Review all staffing for the assigned shift and assure each resident has an assigned nurse/CNA. Review shift PPD and make staffing adjustments as required.
• Make rounds throughout the facility at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Replace any call offs that are received during the shift.
• Communicate all events/incidents and resident concerns to DON/ADON. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in this state or compact state.
• Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Supervisor in long-term care or healthcare related facilities.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations preferred.
