Job summary

Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in New York is seeking an experienced RN to serve as Evening Supervisor, supporting the Director of Nursing and the Assistant Director to uphold high-quality resident care across all shifts.

The role runs 3PM to 11PM and offers a salary range of $97,000 to $105,000 annually, along with competitive benefits and a sign-on bonus. You will supervise nursing staff, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with inspectors.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York.
• Minimum 2 years of progressive nursing in long-term care with managerial experience.
• Proven leadership and management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• COVID-19 vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Assist the DON and ADON to evaluate, and direct day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the Facility.
• Ensure that all nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions.
• Participate in facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the DON and ADON.
• Make daily rounds of the Nursing Services Department to ensure that all nursing service personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards.
