Responsibilities

• Train staff and assist the director of nursing.
• Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, and a home-like environment for residents.
• Assist residents with ADLs, medications, treatments, and care while promoting self-care and independence within state regulations.
• Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans.
• Know and follow infection control and safety procedures.
• Review, update and communicate resident care documentation.
• Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope and state regulations.
