Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room to provide urgent care to patients of all ages with diverse acute illnesses and injuries. You will perform triage, initiate treatment, and support resuscitation efforts, with a focus on patient safety and timely interventions.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree, active RN licensure in the state, and current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications. ER or acute care experience is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage assessment and assign acuity for ED patients.

• Participate in resuscitation events (Code Blue, stroke, sepsis, trauma).
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor for deterioration.
• Document accurately and provide discharge or transfer instructions.

Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary

Provides emergency nursing care to patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries. Performs rapid triage and assessment, initiates treatment protocols, and delivers care during resuscitation and other life-threatening emergencies. Prepares patients for admission, transfer or discharge with appropriate education and follow-up instruction.

Education & Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing: Required
• Emergency Department or acute care nursing experience: Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Registered Nurse licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage assessment and assign acuity for patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Complete focused and ongoing assessments and reassessments across all age groups.
• Initiate and carry out emergency treatment protocols, including medication and IV therapy administration.
• Participate in resuscitation events, including Code Blue, stroke, sepsis and trauma activations.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor patients for deterioration, escalating promptly.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation and provide discharge or transfer instructions.
