ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse in San Antonio, TX for a 13-week contract. The RN will work a 1900-0700 shift in the Clinical Transition Unit, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with the healthcare team.

Candidates must hold a Texas RN license with current BLS and ACLS, have MedSurg/Cardiac Telemetry or ED experience, and be able to work weekends as part of a monthly rotation.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Experience in MedSurg, cardiac telemetry, or ED is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends as part of a 2-weekend per month rotation.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the Clinical Transition Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions using telemetry and respond to alarms.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Transition Unit (CTU). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and the aptitude to work independently while effectively multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Clinical Transition Unit.
• Monitor patient conditions using telemetry equipment and respond to alarms.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families about health management and post-discharge care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in MedSurg, Cardiac Telemetry, or Emergency Department preferred.
• Ability to work weekends as part of a 2-weekend work requirement per month.
