Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MedSurg/Telemetry Unit in Sullivan, IN. This 13-week contract features 12-hour night shifts (Fri–Sun, 7 PM–7:30 AM) with days off Mon and Tue–Thu work rotations.

The unit handles COPD, CHF, pneumonia, abdominal pain, SBO, and COVID-19 across 22 beds. Requires RN license, BLS/ACLS; PALS preferred. Benefits include health coverage, onboarding support, clinical assistance, and 401k with matching.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred.
• RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Titrate medication drips, including Heparin, as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position, with shifts scheduled for 12-hour nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Nurses will be off on Monday and worked on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.

Job Description

The MedSurg/Telemetry Unit requires a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. With a total of 22 beds, including LDRP and ICU, this unit provides an array of services for common diagnoses such as COPD, CHF, pneumonia, abdominal pain, minor surgical cases, SBO, and COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips as required.
• Titrate medication drips, including Heparin, as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in MedSurg/Telemetry required.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS; PALS preferred.
• RN license required.
