Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Emergency Room coverage in Wisconsin. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks with night shifts and 12-hour shifts, serving a Level 3 Trauma Center and a primary stroke center with tele-neurologist support.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of ER experience, a valid state nursing license, and BLS/ACLS/NIHSS/PALS certifications. Epic experience is preferred, and prior travel experience is a must-have.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for all types of emergencies in a Level 3 Trauma Center.

• Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services and Pharmacy for patient care.

Description:The Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse.The nurse will work within a community-based Emergency Department.This unit sees every patient that arrives without admitting pediatrics or psychiatric patients.Staff will provide care for all types of emergencies.The facility has a Level 3 Trauma designation and is a Primary Stroke Center with tele-neurologists.Additional support services include Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy.The patient population includes neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.The unit operates with a daily census of approximately 120 patients.Nurses will manage a patient ratio of 5 during the night shift.The facility has a variety of equipment necessary for emergency care.Two supervisor references will be required post-offer acceptance.NIHSS certification may be achieved during compliance.Completion of modules will be required during orientation.
