Job summary

Origin Travel Nurses seeks an experienced Emergency Room RN to join a Level 2 Trauma Center on a contract with guaranteed hours. The role features a 3 PM–3 AM shift with a mid-shift schedule and flexibility to start as early as 10 AM or as late as 1 PM.

Requires 2+ years in ED or trauma, ACLS/BLS/ENPC or PALS/TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certifications; CEN or TCRN preferred. Meditech experience and trauma/stroke care knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in an Emergency Department or Level 2 Trauma Center.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, ENPC (or PALS), TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Preferred certifications include CEN or TCRN.
• Knowledge of trauma care, STEMI care, stroke care, sepsis management, and triage.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care in emergency situations, assessing and prioritizing patient needs.
• Utilize advanced trauma and emergency care techniques encompassed within Level 2 trauma center protocols.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient management.
• Adhere to best practices using the AIDET framework for patient interactions.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the Meditech system.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a Level 2 Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency and trauma care, alongside certifications necessary for patient care in a critical environment. You will be instrumental in providing high-quality medical care in dynamic and often high-pressure situations.

Responsibilities
