Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Emergency Room care in Clare, Michigan. The role involves night shifts (12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a guaranteed 36 hours per week, under a 13-week contract.

The RN will triage, take histories and vitals, and provide timely life-saving care in the ER, including independent action in urgent situations when a physician is unavailable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience.
• Active Michigan RN License (LARA and/or Nursys).
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments, intervening appropriately and promptly while participating in care planning.
• Regularly assesses patient needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician's authorized plan of care.
• Processes physician/provider orders accurately and in a timely manner, including follow-ups regarding medication changes and clarifications.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of treatment plans and facilitates adjustments to improve patient care.
• Actively collaborates with team members to update or revise treatment plans based on current information.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse functions primarily in direct patient care within the Emergency Room, demonstrating competent clinical practice. Responsibilities include triaging patients, obtaining their history and vital signs, and assessing their needs. In the absence of a physician, the RN acts independently to provide immediate care during life-threatening situations.
