Qualifications

• RN licensure required (RN)
• ACLS within 60 days of start date
• BCLS within 30 days of start date

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery
• Provide patient and family education about peri-operative process
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds
• Participate in universal surgical protocols
• Respond to patient emergencies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Work within an interdisciplinary team
• Document patient condition and care
• Educate patients and families about condition and follow-up
