Ventura Endoscopy Center, part of United Surgical Partners International, is seeking a RN Endoscopy for full-time hours in Ventura, CA. The RN Endoscopy will provide perioperative nursing care, adhering to the medical plan of care and organizational policies, under the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CA Nursing License.
• Current BLS, ACLS.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU; ambulatory setting preferred.
• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation.
• Ability to care for adult patients.
• Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrate teamwork and professional behavior.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality perioperative nursing care according to the plan of care and policies.
• Support safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in the perioperative services.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to maintain smooth workflow.
