Job summary

Ventura Endoscopy Center is hiring a RN Endoscopy Full Time. The RN Endoscopy provides quality patient care in perioperative services, following the nursing process and medical plan of care. Reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

Hourly range: $46.23 - $57.79/hour, with benefits described below. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSAs/HSAs, a 401(k), and paid holidays/vacation, subject to employment status.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CA Nursing License.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years' Pre-Op/PACU experience; ambulatory setting preferred.
• Aseptic technique knowledge and application.
• Ability to care for adult patients.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Teamwork, accountability, and adaptability to change.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using nursing process in perioperative services.
• Deliver safe, patient-family centered care across all patient populations.
• Follow organizational policies and report to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure smooth procedures.

Job Summary

The RN Endoscopy is a Registered Nurse that provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Endoscopy provides safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Endoscopy supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN Endoscopy reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.

Hourly Range: $46.23 - $57.79/hour

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.

Required Skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CA Nursing License
• Current BLS, ACLS
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU. Previous experience working in an ambulatory surgical setting preferred.
• Understand principles of aseptic technique and their implementation
• Ability to care for adult patients
• Knowledge base to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrate strong professional and ethical behavior
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians and fellow employees. (TEAMWORK)
