Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, within the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. The role requires a graduate from an accredited nursing program, GA RN licensure in good standing, and BLS certification.

BSN preferred; ACLS/PALS/NRP or other unit certifications are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred.
• Two years of RN experience preferred.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP) or other clinical certifications may be required for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients per physician orders and established guidelines, and within the scope of practice.
• Independently plans and delivers nursing care in accordance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
