Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to provide nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines. The ideal candidate will be an RN licensed in Georgia, with a background in an accredited nursing program.

This full-time position operates from 8:30 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend or on-call requirements. Preferred qualifications include a BSN degree and experience in clinical specialties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed as an RN in Georgia without limitations.
• Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Responsibilities

The Registered Professional Nurse at Northside Hospital independently plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines, and in accordance with the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES, LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association’s Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED:

• BSN degree
• Two (2) years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.
