Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital is seeking an RN Employee Health Coordinator to promote workforce well-being, maintain productivity, and support cost-effective care through clinical guidance and managing work-related injuries.

You will advocate for safer environments, stronger teams, and better outcomes while delivering education on safety practices and infection prevention to staff at a leading Inland Empire hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current California RN License.
• Current BCLS Certification.
• At least five years of experience in a hospital environment.
• Nursing leadership experience desirable.
• Completed coursework in Workers’ Compensation law and administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completing pre-employment and annual health screenings, immunizations, lab testing, and exposure tracking.
• Assessing workplace injuries and exposures, providing first aid, clinical guidance, and initial care direction.
• Managing occupational health cases, including follow-up care, work restrictions, and return-to-work planning.
• Investigating safety events, identifying trends, documenting findings, and guiding prevention efforts.
• Educating staff on safety practices, infection prevention, injury reduction, and workplace wellness.
