Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT is seeking an Employee Health Coordinator (RN) for the day shift. This part-time role covers 24-32 hours per week and focuses on coordinating the Employee Health Department and delivering essential health services to employees.

You will oversee staff, manage the Workers’ Compensation Program, conduct pre-placement health assessments, and stay current with OSHA and infection control standards to keep employees safe and well.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Connecticut
• CPR certification required
• Occupational health certification preferred
• Minimum of three years of nursing experience in Emergency, ICU, or Medical-Surgical settings

Responsibilities

• Manages and oversees staff and operational functions of the Employee Health Department
• Coordinate the Workers’ Compensation Program
• Reviews employee incidents and initiates appropriate follow-up
• Screens employees for illnesses, communicable diseases and injuries
• Completes pre-placement health assessments for prospective employees
• Maintains knowledge of OSHA and infection prevention requirements
• Participates in employee wellness programs and committees
