Huntington Health in Pasadena seeks an RN for Emergency Services to coordinate patient care using nursing processes and critical thinking, manage discharge plans, and link patients with needed services. This role requires collaboration with the care team and adapts to variable hours.
We expect BSN, or ADN with BSN enrolled and completion within 2 years, plus at least 1 year of acute care experience. California RN license with BLS/PALS/ACLS is required. Shift: FT Nights 7p–7:30a.

Supervises the management of patient care utilizing critical thinking and nursing process, discharge planning, resource identification, linking and scheduling patients with required services, monitoring care delivery, advocating for the patient, care planning and evaluating outcomes.

Coordinates patient care across the health care continuum, and assists other team members with meeting individual patient needs. This position may require flexibility of hours.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required. Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) will be considered if enrolled in a BSN program with degree completion within 2 years of date of hire or date of transfer to an RN position.
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in acute care area of expertise/equivalent service area, preferably in trauma nursing. Experience with electronic documentation/EHR systems.
