Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen Hillsboro is seeking an Emergency Services RN for a fast-paced ER setting. You will assess, plan, intervene, document and evaluate care for a wide range of patient needs, delivering safe and compassionate care when it matters most.

Required are an Associate Degree in Nursing, 2+ years in an ED, Wisconsin RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC certifications. The role emphasizes teamwork, clinical judgment and adherence to our mission and values.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• 2+ years in Emergency department setting required.
• Active RN licensure in Wisconsin required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with patients, families, and health care professionals to develop patient-centered plans of care.
• Provide competent and innovative patient care and education based on acuity and nursing judgment.
• Document assessments, interventions, implementation, and patient or family response.
• Evaluate patient progress and revise plans of care as needed.
• Delegate, supervise, and evaluate tasks performed by Techs within scope and policy.
• Accept accountability, seek feedback, and help resolve issues or conflicts.
• Practice in alignment with the Gundersen Health System mission, values, and Nursing Professional Framework.
• Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
• Ensure patient safety.

What you will need

• Associate degree in Nursing, required.
• 2+ years working in an Emergency department setting, required.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in State of Wisconsin, required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC for Health Care Providers certification, required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
