Job summary

Wesley Medical Center in Derby seeks a Registered Nurse for our fast-paced Emergency Room. You will provide triage, assessment, and evidence-based care to patients of all ages, collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include administering medications, managing IVs, monitoring vital signs, and responding rapidly to critical situations. You’ll educate patients and families, document accurately in the EMR, and support quality and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas.
• Get BLS/ACLS certification as required.
• Experience in emergency care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients in the ER setting.
• Provide evidence-based care to patients of all ages.
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to critical events.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
