• Provide exceptional emergency care in a state-of-the-art, renovated 31-bed Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver personalized, evidence-based care.
• Lead patient care initiatives and utilize advanced technology to enhance patient outcomes.

Department overview:

The Emergency Department is currently undergoing a complete renovation, expanding to a 31-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio and behavioral health safe rooms. It serves patients across all ages for medical emergencies and is a designated Chest Pain Center & Certified Stroke Center. As a teaching site, it offers educational growth opportunities for staff.

Role responsibilities:

• Establish authentic relationships with patients and support systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to deliver optimal care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices and demonstrate compassion in care delivery.
• Manage and oversee patient care in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current VA (or Multi-state) RN license.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (Bachelor’s preferred).
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
• PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: TNCC certification.
