General Position Summary
The function of this position is to perform clinical activities under the direction and supervision of the physician(s) in an Urgent Care setting. Comply with state and regulatory agencies. Provide support to lab and x-ray personnel functioning in the clinical setting. Prioritizes patient symptoms. Exhibits effective communication. Stays current with disease processes, outbreaks, and any information that would be beneficial for staff. Completes required documentation consistent with the system used in the facility. Develops and trains clinical staff.
Performs a variety of tasks for the patients and providers including but not limited to triaging patients, taking patient vitals, obtaining medical information, charting, preparing exam rooms, and other duties as assigned.
