Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services is seeking an ER nurse to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment in Rio Rancho, NM. New graduates are welcome and may join our Nurse Residency Program with monthly seminars and peer mentoring.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in nursing required; NM license or compact state license.
  • BLS certification required at time of hire; ACLS & PALS required.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and assess incoming ED patients to determine severity.
  • Stabilize patients and perform emergency interventions as needed.
  • Administer medications and manage IVs, lines, and equipment.
  • Coordinate with physicians, techs, and other staff to develop care plans.
