Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in MI.
• Current BLS certificate.
• ACLS required; if not complete must be done within 6 months of hire.
• ENPC preferred; PALS will also be considered, if not complete must be done within 6 months of hire.
• TNCC required; if not completed must be done within 1 year of hire.
• Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam within 3 months of hire; may retake test only once - OR DIMS or CAMMP must completed within one year if unable to pass Cardiac Rhythm Recognition exam.
• Previous clinical/ER experience preferred.
• Interpersonal skills: supportive, active listener, effective communicator with patient, family members, medical and hospital staff; ability to work as a team member.
• Basic clinical evaluation and assessment skills are required.
