St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the EP Lab to support daytime patient care in a busy environment. This part-time role requires a 30-hour minimum per department schedule as Tier I and involves a Day Shift (7am-5pm) at St.

Mary Medical Center. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care, documents assessments and interventions, collaborates with the care team, and ensures infection control and safety standards are followed in the EP Lab.

Qualifications

• BSN degree required.
• RN licensure in PA.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Invasive cardiology experience (EP or Cath Lab) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess learning needs and educate patients respecting age, culture and beliefs.
• Document admission assessments, plans and medication use per policy.
• Utilize the information system to communicate patient status and document changes.
• Coordinate transfers and pertinent information during bedside rounds with the care team.
• Incorporate pain management and infection control in the care plan.

Position Purpose

The primary objective of this position is to provide quality of care. Responsible for the direct and/or indirect care of patients assigned utilizing professional nursing skills and knowledge.

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Assesses learning needs, readiness to learn and identify actual or potential barriers to learning and thereby incorporating the patient's education into daily activities based on age, cultural and spiritual values.

• Documents admission assessment / reassessment, plan, interventions and medication use and monitors its effects and outcomes according to policy.

• Utilizes the information management system to enhance communication and documents change in-patients condition to all appropriate individuals. Prioritizes work assignment based on changing situations.

• Communicates transfer of patient responsibility and pertinent information at the bedside and during Interprofessional Rounds

• Recognizes and integrates patient special needs and individualizes care and knowledgeable in abuse recognition and referral

• Includes pain management and supportive care issues in the plan of care.

• Adheres to infection control standards specific to patient care and by promotes and maintains a safe, clean and orderly environment.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• BSN required.
