CarolinaEast Health System is seeking a qualified Electrophysiology Registered Nurse to support diagnostic and interventional EP lab procedures. The RN will prep and recover patients, perform moderate sedation, and monitor vital signs while maintaining continuity of care in a fast-paced environment.
The role requires NC nursing licensure with critical care experience, BLS, and ACLS certifications; full-time status with competitive benefits and potential sign-on and relocation incentives are
** Sign on bonus of $20,000.00 for qualified, full time candidates**
** Relocation up to $7,000.00 for full time candidates per HR guidelines**
Performs the patient care aspect of diagnostic and interventional EP lab procedures. Preps and recovers patient pre/post procedure. Performs moderate sedation and records vital signs. Maintains continuity of care for patients while they are in the electrophysiology lab, prepares charts for procedures. Operate POC testing as required. The Electrophysiology Registered Nurse must be able to maintain calm while being effective and accurate in critical situations, foster an environment of collaboration and respect, and maintains a positive approach to working in a fast paced environment.
