Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital is a fully integrated, state-of-the-art medical campus that includes Diagnostic Centers, Outpatient Surgery, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. It is part of the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic, a nonprofit, multispecialty, academic medical center that integrates clinical care, hospital services, research, and education.

The Electrophysiology Lab specializes in treating cardiac rhythm disorders, offering procedures like pacemaker/ICD implantation and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. As an RN in this unit, you will work closely with physicians, arrhythmia technicians, and nursing staff to promote positive health outcomes using cutting-edge technologies. You will interact directly with patients, families, and visitors, enhancing their experience and providing healthcare education. The Cleveland Clinic system offers numerous professional development resources, including further education and training courses.

Work hours: Days from 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

A successful candidate will:

1. Provide direct nursing care.
2. Implement, monitor, evaluate, and update patient care plans.
3. Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients’ conditions.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
5. Follow physician and nursing orders.
6. Assess and coordinate discharge needs.
7. Educate patients and families.

Minimum qualifications:

1. Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
2. Current RN license in the state.
3. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
4. At least one year of current acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.

Preferred qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN).
