Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the new 10S Elective Surgery Unit A. This PRN night shift role (4 shifts in a six-week cycle, 7pm–7am) supports adult patients (18–100) undergoing planned elective procedures across multiple specialties in an inpatient setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of RN experience, a nursing degree, and TN licensure or compact licensure with TN address within 60 days.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• Nursing degree.
• State or Compact License (TN license within 60 days of TN address).

Responsabilités

• Collaborates in establishing the plan of care, coordinating and implementing care delivery.
• Analyzes information pertinent to the patient’s care and management to determine nursing diagnosis.
• Continuously uses the nursing process to evaluate progress and apply interventions.
• Employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
