Elderwood at Grand Island is seeking an experienced RN Educator to blend clinical practice with education, leading orientation, competency development, and nurse preceptorship while remaining clinically active as a cart nurse.

Responsibilities include coordinating in-services, IV/BLS programs, EMR support, and Nursing Assistant Training activities as applicable, with a focus on resident care quality and regulatory readiness.

Qualificações

• Current license and registration to practice as an RN in New York State.
• Experience providing in-service education or clinical teaching.
• Willingness to perform direct clinical care as cart nurse when needed.
• BSN preferred for advancement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead new-hire orientation, clinical education, competency validation.
• Coordinate IV-certification and BLS programs; manage education records.
• Direct clinical practice including medication administration and patient assessment.
• Collaborate with Nursing leadership and regional clinicians on education initiatives.
• Develop and reinforce nursing competencies and regulatory readiness.
