Elderwood at Liverpool is seeking an experienced RN Educator who blends clinical education with ongoing nursing practice. You will lead orientation, competency development, and mandatory training while remaining connected to resident care as a cart-nurse when needed.

This full-time, onsite role supports nursing leadership and collaborates with regional resources to drive regulatory readiness and education programs across the facility.

Qualifications

• Current NY RN license and registration required.
• At least one year in a long-term healthcare facility.
• Experience providing in-service education or clinical teaching.
• Ability to accept cart-nurse assignments when needed.
• Strong communication, coaching and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead new-hire orientation, clinical education and competency validation.
• Coordinate nursing education, IV and BLS certifications, and CNA training when applicable.
• Maintain clinical presence by accepting cart-nurse assignments as needed.
• Collaborate with Nursing leadership to strengthen practice and regulatory readiness.
• Model documentation, safety, and interdisciplinary communication.
