Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for delivering nursing care to all assigned patients.
• Preceptor role in orientation of nursing personnel and students.
• Develops and evaluates unit-specific orientation for nursing staff.
• Plans in-service programs and lectures to develop nursing staff.
