Job summary

Corewell Health in Greenville seeks a part-time Emergency Center Registered Nurse to provide bedside nursing care in a high-acuity setting. You will apply ANA standards and state regulations while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires an active Michigan RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS per hospital policy, and TNCC/ENPC may be required. Schedule includes day shifts with variable hours and a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Nurse license in Michigan with current RN registration.
• Experience in emergency/trauma care preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care as per ANA standards and State of Michigan.
• Perform assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
• Maintain documentation and ensure patient safety.

Greenville Emergency Department is a community-based hospital that is part of the Corewell Healthcare System. The Greenville ED is a certified Primary Stroke Center and Level IIII Trauma Center. There are over 25 care spaces to treat patients with minor to major medical and traumatic emergencies. Interdisciplinary team members collaborate closely to provide relationship-based care for our patients and their loved ones. Scope of work

Delivers nursing care responsibly and accountably as described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan. Demonstrates competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process. This includes assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Upholds the standards of professional performance as described by the ANA. This includes ethical practice, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice and research, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization and environmental health. Strives to achieve optimal outcomes.
