Job summary

The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator position at Piedmont Cartersville is responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner. This role coordinates all patient care activities and serves as a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure care is delivered in a timely and safe manner.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure with ED experience and a nursing degree; experience leading quality improvement projects is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nursing program is required.
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience as an RN is required.
• Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner.
