Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking an ED Flow Coordinator to manage patient movement in the Emergency Department, ensuring safe, timely, and efficient care delivery across busy shifts while coordinating bed assignments, throughput, and handoffs with ED clinicians and support teams.

The role requires an RN with ED experience; education includes graduation from a nursing program, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Formación

• Georgia RN licensure required.
• 1 year Emergency Department experience is required.
• Experience leading quality and process improvement projects is required.

• Coordinate patient care activities in the ED to ensure safe and efficient flow.

Responsibilities:

The Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator position is responsible for the overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe and efficient manner. This position will coordinate all patient care activities and be a liaison with the ED medical staff to ensure that care can be delivered in an efficient and safe manner. The Patient Flow Coordinator appropriately delegates the workload and is a role model for teamwork, leadership and professionalism in the ED.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate from a nursing program Required
• Bachelor's Degree of Nursing Preferred

Work Experience

• 1 year of Emergency Department experience, as a registered nurse (RN) Required
• Experience participating in and/or leading quality and process improvement projects Required

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
• ACLS Required
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
• CEN - Certified Emergency Room Nurse Preferred
