Job summary

Piedmont is seeking an Emergency Department (ED) Patient Flow Coordinator in Cartersville, GA. The role focuses on the safe, efficient movement of patients through the ED and coordinating care activities with ED staff.

The position requires RN licensure in Georgia and active BCLS/ACLS/PALS certification, with CEN preferred. Ideal candidates have 1 year of ED RN experience and a track record in quality or process improvement projects, demonstrating leadership and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital

Qualifications

• 1 year of Emergency Department experience as an RN (Required).
• Experience leading quality and process improvement projects (Required).
• RN – Georgia licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (Required).
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS required.
• CEN certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall movement of patients through the ED in a safe, efficient manner.
• Serve as liaison with ED medical staff to ensure timely and safe care delivery.
• Delegate workload and model teamwork, leadership, and professionalism in the ED.
