Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. The role is part-time (24 hrs/week) with a 6:30pm–7:00am shift, offering a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 for experienced nurses.

You will work in a 26-bed ED, providing patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with departments, and upholding patient rights and confidentiality. 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio with strong team support.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (or within 30 days).
• Unit-specific certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process in the ED.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and teams.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Evaluate overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Support a 26-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
