Job summary

Mercy Washington is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. The 26-bed ED operates 24/7 with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, supported by care techs and paramedics.

The role follows the nursing process to deliver patient care in a fast-paced setting. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000, day-one benefits, tuition support, and shift differentials including a $20/hour weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license).
• ACLS and BLS certifications (or within 30 days).
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Must live within 45 mins of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy mission, values, and standards.
