Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff RN to join the Emergency Department in a full-time mid-shift (11a-11p). A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available.

You will deliver holistic, patient-centered care using established nursing processes, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes. Requirements include graduation from a nursing program, Georgia RN or NLC/eNLC license, and BLS certification with prior critical care experience.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification required (American Heart Association or the American Red Cross).
• Previous experience in critical care required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to maintain quality nursing care.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
