Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This part-time day shift (7 a.m. – 7 p.m.) role focuses on evidence-based patient care, collaboration with the care team, and patient education from admission to discharge.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the State of Ohio by time of hire
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire
• PALS within 90 days of hire (ED, PACU, Infusion)
• NRP within 90 days of hire (OB)

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records and reports.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to achieve best patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families from admission to discharge.
• Support a culture of safety through prevention and response activities.
• Work hours as defined by offer letter; may extend as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
