Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a Registered Nurse for ED Overflow. You will deliver skilled nursing care, assess patients on admission and during shifts, administer medications, document thoroughly, and educate families. A sign-on bonus of up to $40K is available for qualified candidates.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN (BSN preferred), and a current North Carolina RN license with BLS certification. Prior hospital experience is preferred; join a team recognized for nursing excellence.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: One year of RN experience.
• Required Education: Associate degree in nursing (ADN).
• Required License: RN licensed in North Carolina; eNLC may apply.
• Required Certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and shifts; report changes.
• Perform procedures, monitor and document care; administer meds.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and follow‑ups.
