Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC seeks a Registered Nurse ED Overflow to lead and coordinate professional nursing care in the Emergency Department overflow area. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementation and timely documentation to support patient safety and quality outcomes.

You will administer medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and respond promptly to patient needs while educating patients and families about care plans and follow-up steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN program with BSN within 5 years of hire.
• Current RN license with North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of professional nursing care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care; supervise and document care.
