Job summary

Cross Creek Hospital in Austin, TX is seeking an RN ECT Nurse Manager to join our nursing leadership team. This full-time role supports the delivery of electroconvulsive therapy within a behavioral health setting and requires strong administrative experience.

The position emphasizes patient safety, coordination across departments, and staff development, with a focus on compliant and empathetic care for adults, adolescents, and seniors.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher strongly preferred.
• Current RN license in state of facility.
• Three years as a registered nurse strongly preferred.
• Two years of RN experience required.
• Two years of RN experience with inpatient behavioral health preferred.
• One year of experience with the population required.
• One year of charge RN or other administrative experience required.
• Prior experience as a house supervisor strongly preferred.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates and manages census and acuity and allocates nursing resources based on patient care needs.
• Role models customer service and prioritizes patient safety.
• Accountable for the standard of care and provides consultations in care delivery.
• Serve as a clinical/resource to nursing staff and other staff.
• Coordinate safe and appropriate care between departments and disciplines.
• Manage and evaluate activities of nursing and support staff.
• Recruitment, hiring and training of new staff.
• Develop educational or training programs.
