Parkview Manor is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations and support a compassionate, high-quality care environment.

You will guide nursing staff, collaborate on care plans, ensure regulatory compliance, and work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.

Qualifications

• RN license in Texas and in good standing.
• Proven leadership in long-term or geriatric nursing.
• Strong clinical skills with restorative care approach.
• Knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent organization and communication skills; problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff.
• Support direct care by assisting on the floor to maintain high-quality care.
• Review payroll submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain resident records with accurate documentation.
• Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Provide resources and ensure access to equipment and supplies for nursing staff.
• Coach, mentor, and support nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to join our team. In this key leadership role, you will help shape the care experience for our residents while guiding and supporting our nursing staff with professionalism, integrity, and clinical excellence.

Your Impact as Director of Nursing

In this role, you will:

• Ensure Compliance: Oversee all nursing services in accordance with company, state, and federal guidelines
• Lead the Team: Manage recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and performance of nursing staff
• Support Direct Care: Step in to assist on the floor when needed to maintain consistent, high-quality care
• Review Payroll: Approve payroll submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Maintain Records: Monitor resident records for accuracy and appropriate documentation
• Develop Care Plans: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans
• Provide Resources: Ensure nursing staff have timely access to equipment and necessary supplies
• Coach and Mentor: Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to improve performance and outcomes

• Holds a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the State of Texas
